obsessed with letterpress

Those of you who know me on a personal level know that I am a bit obsessed with letterpress. I have even talked about buying a vintage letterpress so I can start making my own letterpress items. But, as Ken noted, we don't really have anywhere to put a giant press! As much as I really want one, it's probably best if I just continue my daily drooling.

It made my day yesterday when I received this lovely letterpress print in the mail. Hijiri does awesome work and she is as sweet as can be!


Ken and I thought it looked good on this shelf in our living room, among my vintage cameras. What do you think?

She printed this on a vandercook press using vintage wood blocks. I absolutely love the imperfections and the texture from the vintage wood letters!

    I love editing video. I get lost in it so much that before I know it, it's 4 AM, I haven't eaten, showered, or fed my cats, and I have to be at my day job in 3 hours.

    I also love the shelves.

    I love: my amazing twin boys, my fiance, my family and friends, shopping, wedding planning (75% of the time), baking, scrapbooking, justin timberlake, reality tv, decorating, organizing, and sweet tea...lets see...anything else..oh, and I really love that print!! :)
