stay tuned...
I have a sweet deal and a special giveaway heading your way in August! As an aside, where the heck has this summer gone?!?!
And, since no post is complete without a photo, here is a favorite from a wedding this past weekend. It's definitely going in my studio gallery.

a gorgeous Southern Indiana wedding
The morning started off hot and rainy (of course!!!), but when Ken and I arrived in beautiful Madison, Indiana and I saw these fabulous blue shoes, I knew it was going to be a great day! It really doesn't get any better than this.
This is one of my favorite photos I have ever taken.
In case you're wondering why the bride and groom have no heads in most of these photos, I'm respecting their wishes and only posting non-identifying photos of them.
Love, love, love.
The bride and all the bridesmaids carried gorgeous parasols. I'm a fan.
There's something so classic about this one.
I shot this just outside the Lanier Mansion, where they were originally supposed to have their ceremony. (It got moved to the downtown fountain due to construction.) Madison, Indiana brides: we would LOVE to go back to the Lanier Mansion some day!!!
Another favorite of the day.
The bold colors were the perfect choice for a summer wedding.
I love this shot that Ken grabbed.
I captured this moment while the bride was on her way to the ceremony in the Madison Trolley. Although you can't see her face, I think this photo really captures the emotion of the moment.
The guys at the ceremony.
I was hiding behind a groomsman to get this photo.
The cake was delicious!
I loved the way her dress moved during their first dance.
Not bad for not being able to show identifying photos, huh? I wish I could show you more -- I loved everything about this wedding!!!

Erica + Shawn
Erica and Shawn were married on a rainy day at German Park, but they didn't let the rain put a damper on their outdoor wedding! They were complete troopers and let Ken and me photograph them in the rain. (And, for those keeping track, you counted right -- every wedding so far this year has been rainy, but that means lots and lots of good luck!) We love when couples don't let a little adverse weather ruin their day!
Although Erica and Shawn decided not to see each other prior to their ceremony, I wanted to start things off with a few of my favorite candid moments and relaxed portraits for their day.
Don't you just LOVE her bouquet of peonies? Erica and Shawn grew these flowers themselves and then Erica's mom crafted Erica's bouquet.
I adore this photo that Ken shot. It reminds me of one of my favorites from our own wedding day.
What would a Lindsay Wilson PHOTOGRAPHY wedding be without a shot similar to this?!
Erica, you look radiant (even in the rain)!
Another favorite.
Of course I had to find an old garage with a crackly wall to use in at least one photo.
I really dig the wildflower vibe in this photo. Erica's mom and two of her friends put together all the flowers for Erica and Shawn's wedding, and I think they did a fabulous job!
This guy was such a cutie all day!
This is probably one of my favorite ceremony photos of all time.
As you can see, the ceremony was moved under a shelter due to the rain. The amazing ladies of A Touch of Elegance LLC really transformed this space to make it perfect for Erica and Shawn's wedding. I can't say enough good things about Deborah and Cassie. They are true professionals and an expert in their craft.
Who knew a park shelter could look so great?!
Erica's dad gave such a sweet speech.
Shawn's sister-in-law of Zionsville Cakes made the cupcakes and they were AWESOME. Everyone who knows me knows I have a love affair with cupcakes. The baby and I enjoyed a couple that evening, as well as a piece of wedding cake. (I can't believe I admitted that on my blog...)
Yum.
Erica and Shawn, thank you so much for having Ken and me capture your special day! You two are a terrific couple and we wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.
