Christina + Jake

It has been really wonderful getting to know Christina and Jake over the past year or so. They are 100% authentic people with passion for each other. Each is the other's biggest supporter, best friend, confidant. It was a joy for Ken and me to take part in their special day.

When we showed up to their church and saw Christina's incredible shoes, we knew it was going to be a great day. (And she wore them all the way through the reception!)

One word: gorgeous.

Shana Schutt Floral Design
provided all the flowers for the event. She did a great job! Christina's bouquet was filled with elegant calla lilies.

I absolutely loved the bouquets for the bridesmaids!

Hello, beautiful bride!

Can't forget the handsome groom!

The first time Jake saw Christina that day...

Love.

After the ceremony, we headed outside the church for a few nautral light photos just before the sun set. These next few are my favorites from the day.

Gosh I love that laugh!

Guys will be guys!

I thought the purple was just perfect for their day.

I had to snatch the flower girl for a few shots by herself since she was so stinkin' cute.

What did I tell you? She was taking pictures all day long with that Polaroid of hers.

Timeless.

They used this for their thank you cards. How fun!

The toasts are one of my favorite parts of the day -- laughter and tears and funny stories and more tears. Maybe I should blog more toasts!

You two are so perfect for each other!!!

Sweet dance moves, Jake.

PBJ Professional DJs kept the dance floor packed all night. I have worked with them for a ton of weddings and they are always fabulous!

Christina and Jake, thank you so much for having Ken and me be part of your wedding day. We had so much fun!!! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!!!
