I had so much fun hanging out with Kelly and Jeremy at their waterfront home in Broad Ripple. They asked me if I thought using one of their canoes would make for good photos. Are you kidding?! It was the perfect idea!!!

sweet family of three

I just loved photographing this sweet family of three! Before we started the session, Marilyn warned me that their daughter, Kalise, might be camera shy. That definitely was not the case! Kalise was cracking me up all afternoon!

Jen + Alex

I have known Jen and Alex since we were all in middle school. (Has it really been almost 20 years?!) Through the wonderful world of Facebook, we have been able to keep in touch and my heart smiled a big smile when they started "officially" dating a few years ago. Last year, when Alex proposed, my heart smiled even bigger. Jen and Alex took a road trip from Chicago to Indianapolis for their engagement photos. They wanted something with an urban feeling, so I took them around the industrial parts of downtown Indy.

Jen, you are glowing. I can't wait for the big day!

Since I did their shoot solo, I tried to recreate Ken's signature shot. Hopefully I did not disappoint.

Erin + Mike

We loved absolutely everything about Erin and Mike's wedding in Bloomington, Indiana. They were so laid back the entire day and just let us do what we wanted. It was a dream.

Erin's friend Shannon provided the makeup. She used to work for Lancome at Macy's but now just does makeup for friends. Yeah, those are Erin's real lashes. I'm jealous.

I'm going to apologize in advance for the abundance of flower photos. I am obsessed with gerbera daisies and craspedia (I had them in my own bouquet!) and Peppertree Floral did an amazing job, as always.


While the girls were getting ready, the guys were finishing last minute preparations.



Since they are composers, the guys had to get some fun shots in the music hall.





We love when the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony. It allows everyone to relax and it gives us a lot of time for fun photos!


This might be my favorite shot of the day.

Erin and Mike made these yummy chocolate truffles and the Bridesman created all the origami lotus flowers. Talk about paper folding skills!


Super sweet first dance. Complete Music provided the DJ service and entertained the crowd all night.
