Jami + Eric

I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since my last blog post -- and that was just a teaser post! Sheesh! It's been a crazy couple weeks!!! I finally had some time to get Jami and Eric's long awaited blog post up, so enjoy!

Meet Ava, the bride and groom's beautiful daughter.

Recognize Kami in the background? (Wow, the old blog took me on a walk down memory lane!) She is Jami's cousin and Jake and I shot her wedding in 2008. Jami, you are a timeless beauty.

I love everything about this candid moment. Jami's hair stylist hand crafted this amazing hair piece for her. It was like nothing I had ever seen before!

Red shoes = extreme fabulousness. (Yep, I just made up a word.)

Breathtaking.

Meet Eric, the handsome groom. I love me some backlighting!

I got to shoot the guys in my favorite light of all time.

I'm pretty sure Jami looks like a model in the next few. She claims she's not photogenic. Yeah right...she could have fooled me!

I love the vintage feeling of this photo.

Hotties!

I have to confess -- this is always one of my very favorite moments of the day.

I'm posting both the color and black and white version of the next photo because I couldn't decide which one to post. Ken voted for color and I chose the black and white. Which one is your favorite? (By the way, we were totally in the middle of the street in Friday night traffic in downtown Iindianapolis for these photos. They were Jami's only request and I was happy to oblige.)

Hands down, my FAVORITE shot of the day. No contest. I love the energy, the mood, the feelings, the grain, the city lights...I love it all.

The next two are my second favorites. Since Jami and Eric had an evening wedding after Daylight Saving Time and they opted not to see each other before the ceremony, we had to get creative with the portraits. I was thrilled when they let me photograph them in the lobby of the Hilton.

Amazing Cakes created their cake. Yum!

First dance.

Father daughter dance.

I'm going to leave you with one of the funniest moments at their wedding. Poor Eric!!!

Jami and Eric, I wish love, laughter, and happiness to you and your beautiful family. I hope to see you guys again soon!

  3. I can't choose between the color and black and white because they are both great! The color shows the lights but there's something classic about the black and white. Gorgeous wedding, love her veil and hair piece!
