Balie + Christian
What can I say about Balie and Christian, except that they are an awesome couple with a fabulous sense of style! And, they were troopers on this freezing cold, rainy, windy day. A photographer can't ask for much more than that. Ken and I were bundled up in our multiple layers and hooded sweatshirts but Balie rocked that green dress and heels like a champ.
We found this little gem of a location in a random parking lot in downtown Indianapolis.
Balie, you have an amazing laugh.
One word: gorgeous.
I think this photo sums up Balie and Christian's favorite TV show pretty well. I love everything about this photo. EVERYTHING!
This is one of my favorites from the day (and of course Ken shot it).
Christian in a nutshell...
Balie and Christian, thanks for bearing the cold, rain, and wind for your engagement session. We cannot wait for your wedding!!!

Gail + Mike
Gail and Mike came to us as a referral from the super sweet Christina + Jake, whose wedding we shot last fall. It's been so much fun getting to know them during the course of their wedding planning. Fun fact: Because Mike is Type A all the way, he was quite the involved groom, and I think that is awesome. Here are a few of our favorites from their day!
Gail, you are stunning -- a true classic beauty with a heart of gold. These are some of my favorite getting ready photos I have EVER taken. Note to future brides and grooms: Hotel Indigo in Fishers has amazing rooms with lots of natural light, making it a great place for getting ready.
I love these shots that Ken grabbed of the guys getting ready.
The first look. Gail and Mike's ceremony and reception was at the Fishers Conference Center, and they chose to do their first look near the ceremony arch.
McNamara provided the flowers.
Ha!!!
Another favorite from the day.
Mike, this is for you!
Gail and her girls, looking like rock stars.
I love this shot of Mike with his brothers!
The Flying Cupcake provided the cupcakes. If you know me at all, you know that these are my favorite cupcakes! I could have eaten one of every flavor, but I was good and just had one cupcake.
Yum, yum, yum. I am drooling just looking at these cupcakes!
What a sweet father/daughter dance.
Can anyone name that song? Big props if you get it right!
The dance floor was hopping all night. That makes us happy photographers!
Gail and Mike, we had so much fun shooting your wedding. Even though it was rainy and the wind was insane, your day was just perfect. We wish you love and laughter forever!

Mary Beth + John
Mary Beth and John are so much fun to be around! We started things off at Butler because that's where John went to school. Holcomb Gardens is so beautiful this time of year, and it was the perfect place to grab a few scenic photos.
We hiked up to the bell tower, where the light was AMAZING. Mary Beth warned me that she and John are not photogenic. Sure, Mary Beth, whatever you say -- you guys are gorgeous!
Ken caught this moment and it's one of my favorites from the day.
Mary Beth and John's lives revolve around sports, so it was only appropriate that Mary Beth brought a basketball to the session.
After Butler, we headed out to IMA for a few more photos. I love this shot of them by the iron gate!
What a sweet moment.
Mary Beth and John, we had a blast and can't wait for your wedding day!!!
